7 ways to detox your body

The detox system has always been a staple of wellness regimens for years. To make it even simplier we came across east and safe ways to detox your body naturally. What is detox?? Detoxification aims to eliminate all the negative effects on the body from the environment: industrial chemicals, pesticides, additives in our food, secondary smoke, pollutants, heavy metals, processed foods, GMOs, and toxic products. 

1. Turn to organic foods : 

foods like fruits and vegetables are best when it comes to a detox. Fruits have high liquid content, they help the body wash out toxins. They are also very easy to digest and full of nutrients, bonus- they taste delicious! It’s important to add raw veggies to your diet, as the digestive enzymes are very beneficial in the natural detox process. Green plants will help give a chlorophyll-boost to your digestive tract and are very cleansing to your system.

Garlic – This little food is one of the best detoxing foods there is. It helps stimulate the liver into producing detoxification enzymes that help filter toxic residues from the digestive system.

2. Try yoga : 

yoga can make a huge difference as it rejuvenates the body, it helps to get rid of stress as you work through the movements. This is good for the body and the mind as you have a chance to recharge. Try breathing exercises to feel the difference. 

3. Add lemon water : 

drink lemon water through out the day. The acid in the lemons assist the cleansing process. Citrus fruits, such as lemons, contain a pure concentrated form of citric acid. Due to its acidity and high pH levels, citric acid is able to actually penetrate and break down fat molecules. 

4. Replace coffee with green tea : 

Green tea offers some important antioxidants that our body needs in the most natural form. It offers a slight caffeine boost that can help to get you jump started n the morning, just as coffee does. Even if you skip coffee you still get some caffeine and whole lot of benefits! 

5. Sweat it out :

As you exercise, the blood circulates throughout the body, bringing nutrients to all the organs and muscles giving your detox a natural boost. As you do aerobic exercise you build up a sweat and toxins are released through the pores of the skin. It’s important to rinse off after heavy sweating to help rid the body of those toxins. 

6. Dry skin brushing : 

Dry skin brushing is an easy and effective way to help detox your body. It helps to improve the appearance of your skin by eliminating dead cells and helping new skin to regenerate and it also stimulates blood circulation, the lymphatic system, and greatly enhances toxin elimination. 

7. Get beauty sleep :

It is very very important to sleep at night, skip your late night parties and sleep like a baby for healthier body and skin. When you get 7-8 hours of sleep each night you give your body a chance to rest and recuperate. This is an important way that your body rebuilds and prepares for the activities that you have ahead the next day.
