8 causes of hairfall which can be avoided 

Hair fall is every girls problem, whether your 20 or 40 every women experience it. There can be various reasons for hairfall, let’s have a look

1. Physical Stress : Any kind of physical trauma like a injury, accident, severe illness, surgery can trigger temporary hair loss, When you have a really stressful event like any of these, it can shock the hair cycle, pushing more hair into the shedding phase, it will become more noticeable 3-4 months after the trauma. However as your body recovers the hair will start to grow back. 

2. Taking birth control :

Hormonal contraceptives can contribute to hair loss depending on the type of contraceptive and your body’s unique response to it. The hair loss is usually temporary, but u’ll loose some of your hair permanently. 

2. Pregnancy : 

pregnancy is also a example of physical stress, it is actually traumatic. You may not notice hair loss during the pregnancy, most women loose hair after the baby is delivered, it’s completely normal,so sit back and relax because your your will grow back soon.

3. Juice cleanse : 

You won’t lose hair during the diet but will notice it weeks after it’s over. That’s because your restricting many nutritients and calories for your hair, the system response by cutting off or lessen the supply of energy to hair, the hair loss which is caused due to nutrition deficiency is usually temporary and the hair will grow back. The question is there a need for juice cleanse/detox which can cause hair loss?

4. Lack of protein : 

If you don’t get enough protein in your diet, your body may ration protein by shutting down hair growth. This can happen about two to three months after a drop in protein intake. 

There are many great sources of protein, including fish, meat, and eggs. If your a vegan you can consume tofu, soya products, lentils peanut and nuts. 

5. Not washing your hair enough : 

washing your hair on regular basis is important, alternate days or even daily if your excercise and sweat daily. If your scalp has any inflammation, if it’s itchy, flaky, or has any sensitivity this can cause hair loss. 

6. Tight hair styles: 

You may notice after you open your hair, your scalp my feel sore and tight. That’s because you traumatised your hair follicles. Wearing tight ponytails or buns, or even braiding hair too tight can cause hair loss. 

7. Over usage of hot tools : 

The whole idea is to stay close to nature. Any chemical treatment, blow dry, hair curler/straightener can be damaging for your hair. The best advice would be cut down usage of hot tools, use less heat, Moisturise or use a heat protectant for your hair before you use any hot tool. 

8. Emotional stress : This is similar to physical stress. Any physical stress for example end of a long relationship, death of a beloved one, any sort of stress can cause hair loss, take steps to combat stress by taking a therapy or Talking about it to close friend.
